InterContinental Hotels Group® (IHG), one of world’s leading hotel companies has signed a Management Agreement with Indroyal Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd for Crowne Plaza® Amaravati. The soon to be capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati is being rapidly developed as a world class city connected to the major cities in India by land, rail and air through its neighbouring city of Vijayawada. It is expected to attract high-value manufacturing and service industries, creating strong economic growth opportunities in the years to come.
Crowne Plaza® Amaravati will be approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre, adjacent to various government offices and the business park zone. Along with well-appointed rooms, the hotel will feature 20,000 sqft of meeting space, a business centre, outdoor pool and a gymnasium. Additionally, featuring an all-day dining outlet, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, the hotel will offer guests a number of food and beverage options to choose from.
The 300 room hotel will be the first IHG hotel in the city and is expected to be operational by 2024.
